Fear Buddies
Displaying the number of people in proximity dealing with similar fears or insecurities as yourself. Providing support by creating an anonymous local network.
Each FearBuddy is purchased depending on a certain fear, phobia, attitude or insecurity. It is programmed to recognize
other FearBuddy beacons programmed to the same emotional state within its proximity.
The Fear Buddies are not about meeting people but about providing an anonymous way of local reassurance that the user is not alone with her feelings in her environment.
Contrary to the geographic freedom of forums in the internet, the FearBuddies create a strong geographic relationship to ones own location and establish the comfort of not being alone with a certain fear, phobia, insecurity or opinion in ones immediate surroundings and neighbourhood.
