About

Daniel Goddemeyer is an strategic design consultant specialized in the ideation and transformation of research and insight into fresh connections and ideas. He then develops these ideas into compelling products, services and experiences applying a strong design thinking paired with actual design experience.

Daniel graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2006 and was employed at AntennaDesign upon Graduation. In 2007 and 2008 he has been working as an independent design consultant for agencies such as Fork Unstable Media, ReD Associates, Fjord, Node, Teague and Artefact being employed in leading or major roles on various projects for clients such as Nokia, Samsung, Lego, Hewlett-Packard, Panasonic and Fujitsu-Siemens.

He is experienced in creating visually compelling strategic design concepts and hands-on design solutions for product design (Fujitsu-Siemens, Taxi 07), service design (Nokia, Panasonic, HP) and digital media (Nosy Parker / Blowing Gently Installation).

Daniels work has received several distinctions from institutions such as the Art Directors Club and the Industrial Designer Society of America, and his work has been exhibited internationally. He has been cited and featured in magazines such as IdN Magazine, Creative Review, Innovation, Axis and the Financial Times and has been published in numerous books.

His most recent achievement is a Red Dot Award 2008 for one of his latest self-funded concept projects.

With an O1 Artist visa, Daniel currently resides in New York City and Berlin, avidly working in the United States and Europe.
